BackYour children have been asked to call phone buddies to find out assignments when they have been sick and to try to have some of the work done when they return.
- If possible arrange in advance to do the work before the absence.
- Get assignments while still out, from buddies and the hotline. Get handouts from team member in neighborhood.
- Do some of the work while still absent.
- On the day of return arrange for doing the rest of the missed work with each teacher.
- Some work may be made up at lunch and during activity period.
All work should be made up - one day late for each day's absence. Please monitor makeup's. Many good students get confused and don't recover completely from absences.
